July 2013 www.sname.org/sname/mt David Ainsworth joined Marine Current Turbines (MCT) in November 2003. He is a chartered engineer with a bachelor of science degree in aeronautics and astronautics from the University of Southampton. Previously, he worked in the aerospace, defense, and the electrical power generation industries. He has a wide experience in multi-disciplined projects requiring technical, commercial, and environ- mental skills. He is responsible for the project development team at MCT, which has been responsible for obtain- ing the consents and the installation of the SeaGen turbine in Strangford Lough. The team is currently manag- ing the business and site development activities in Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. Commander Rob Cohen is the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Headquarters (NAVFAC) Energy Action Officer and Wounded Warrior Program Manager. Previously, he served as a program manager for the Commander Navy Installations Command; a public works director for a naval weapons station; assistant resi- dent officer in Chart of Construction for Naval Base San Diego; and a facility manager for the United States Atlantic Fleets Headquarters and supporting staff.
